Meet Carlye
Hi! I am the sole face behind CB Stitchworks. I am a 22-year-old, chronically ill graduate student with a special interest in social work and social equity/justice. In my free time, I love to sew, machine embroider, read fantasy, and play cozy games! CB Stitchworks is a product of my love to create and my desire to give back to a community that I understand deeply.
My Why
In July of 2025, I developed a rare vascular compression called Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome (MALS). As I awaited corrective surgery, I underwent twice weekly IV infusions to keep me stable. IV infusions are far from comfortable, and when I sought out IV adaptive clothing, I found many of them were simple and compromised my vibrant self expression. Out of this experience, the first embroidered crewneck prototype was developed. Ever since then, I have worked diligently to make my infusion crewnecks more accessible, more function, and more visually appealing.
Meet Juni
Juni is my 3-year-old Australian Shepherd and CB Stitchworks' shop dog! The first iteration of CB Stitchworks, Junebug Dog Gear (JDG) was created with her as the primary inspiration. While service dog gear is currently on the backburner for me, I am forever grateful for our roots in the service dog gear community!
